The Philadelphia Eagles are going to pay Michael Vick $1.6 Million to play 1 year of football?
What the hell is wrong with them?
They couldn’t find anyone else that can throw a freakin ball?
Guess we now know why we saw all the write ups yesterday about how Vick went to talk to At Risk Kids, in Chicago, about how wrong dog fighting is.
Does he really give a shit about those kids or the dogs he Maimed & Killed? Maybe he just wanted to look like he had become part of the human race. His manager wanted his name plastered all over the news as a rehabilitated, God fearing, pet supporter that cares about children. Sure he has remorse, that he got caught.
After getting busted for dog fighting he had to file for Bankruptcy to the tune of $20 million in bad debt. His assets were only worth an estimated $16 million. I’m not sure why he even has assets? Most people that are convicted of things like he was have everything confiscated because it can be assumed to have been boughten with illegal funds.
The Twitter streams have been busy with Football fans ranting or raving about the Eagles. Most of the Eagles fans I saw tweeting were all excited. They could not care less that now their team has a convicted animal abuser. All they want is to win the Super Bowl. Oh yeah, great freakin roll model there people. Hope my kids grow up just like the big evil football player.
Other Eagles fans are pissed. They don’t want that scumbag representing their city or their team. Some Eagles fans are even switch teams. A sports store said they will NOT sell any merchandise with the Vick name on it. Others want Philly to change the team name to the Beagles as a little Vick humiliation.
We also have a PETA supporter from Philly that has some pull with her peeps as this tweet was getting a helping of ReTweets by P!NK fans – @Pink: wow. Michael Vick in MY hometown, Philly. of all the places. I hope the fans tear him to pieces like his beloved dogs.
I know this is big news today and I wonder how long people will support him if he can’t play for crap after his 2 years off? If he doesn’t put the Eagles in line for a great season, the fans might throw him to the dogs.
Oh that’s right, the Eagles should treat him just like he treated his dogs. If he doesn’t perform well, then they get to strangle him, drown him, or maybe a little electric shock therapy!
Oh well, I do hope he takes this 2nd chance to improve the lives of others..
