What is up with those people on Twitter that Retweet messages that were sent to them?
I’m sure you have seen the ones when someone sends an @ to a person to say thanks, your great, wow you are the bestest…
I guess the person that gets it realizes that not everyone got to see it so, they have to send it back out as a RT.
Normally right after that RT, they send out a tweet saying something like “That last tweet was from someone that bought my____ *insert link*. So glad I could help them”.
I’m sure those people consider it a good marketing move. But have they taken the saying “It’s not what you say about yourself that counts but, what others say about you that matters” just a bit too far?
Then you have the Retweeters that every time a celebrity or guru sends out a tweet they have to RT. Not sure if they think the original sender will be overwhelmed with gratitude & notice them or if they want all of us lame asses to think they are BFF’s with the celebrity.
If you’re wondering why I follow these people…I have a douche bag quota. Yes, if all of us did not follow at least a few of these RTing DB’s then they would have no followers & they would not feel so special.
Maybe it’s just me or do these RT’ers bother you too?
